Learn to dive is where the emphasis is on fun! Beginners are introduced to the fundamentals of diving at their own rate. This program develops, flexibility, strength, co-ordination, self confidence and discipline while learning new skills. All classes begin with a dry land warm up that focuses on technique, core strength, and flexibility. Skills will be concentrated on the 1 meter board with opportunity to do jumps, entries, and basic dives from the 3 meter board and 5 meter platform. Divers will be grouped as well as possible according to age and level. Classes run Monday-Thursday 6-730pm at the Canada Games pool.
Our Masters Learn to Dive adult classes offer the fun of learning new skills, fitness, and friends to those 25+. Meeting once a week participants improve their overall fitness including, flexibility core strength, and co-ordination, while learning the basics of diving at their own pace. This is a great opportunity for those who are looking to stay active, master new skills and meet new people.
